Our Mission
Our mission is to reflect local community values while facilitating efforts that sustain, enhance, conserve, and protect the natural and cultural resources and rural lifestyle of the Swan Valley for present and future generations.
Our goals:

Track, support, or oppose undertakings that may significantly affect the people, and the natural or cultural resources associated with the Swan Valley and the surrounding area;

Coordinate efforts as appropriate with local, regional, and national businesses, agencies and other organizations and individuals who share or complement our mission;

Facilitate timely community-based information collection and distribution by interactively engaging citizens, businesses, agencies and other organizations;

Enhance the understanding of cumulative effects of land management practices;

Support the local community in preparing for, mitigating, responding to, and recovering from natural and other disasters.

Develop and support responsible resource stewardship and restoration programs.
